Chapter 1


I am going down the best slide on the best playground ever my day was great I got a 99% on my math test and had a great snack. My hands let go of the slick sides of the big blue slide and pushed me away from the top and down the slide. I went down the slide going side to side. Really fast, I reached the bottom of the slide felling a little dizzy. All of a sudden two girls named Sarah and Bella jumped out from behind the slide and said 


"your hair is ugly and you have ugly glasses."


They ran away laughing, this was the beginning of the worst day ever I thought. My hands got sweaty and there were tears in my eyes, but I knew if I got in a fight I would be in big trouble from my second grade teacher Mrs. Sticks.

Mrs. Sticks called us in and we started reading our books for LA. I was reading a great book called The Boxcar Children. I was really into the book and didn't hear Mrs. Sticks say

" Rose please come over here I need you."

" Yes."

I jumped up from the fuzzy green chair in the back of the room and walked over to her.

" Yes."

I said again.

" I would like to see what you are reading."

she said.

" I am reading The Boxcar Children. It is a really good book."

she nodded in agreement and then said

" You can go now."

I walked away from her desk. When I was walking away, I thought about how the boxcar children are living alone without a family and people to love, except for the part of the family that they are with, which are all kids.

I sat down at lunch trying to make my day as great as possible, but that didn't last long. I was sitting down at lunch talking with my best friend, Nikki. We were talking about what we were going to do outside. All of a sudden, Sarah and Bella walked up to me and Nikki and said that she was ugly but she isn't.

" That was really mean you should apologize to her or get out of here."

They gave me a mean face and then walked back to their table where they looked at us in till lunch was over.

I didn't know why they were doing this because everyone says I am a fun and generous girl, but I think their problem is my skin and hair because I have something called occulocutaneous albinism when my hair, skin and eyes have no pigment. That means that there is no color. That is what I think. They have a problem with that because they think I am different from everyone else but I am not, I just look a little different then everyone else.

I caught up to my brother Mike after lunch and told him what happened with Bella and Sarah and he said

"Just ignore them, but if they do it again, tell mom, ok?"

"Ok."

I said in reply. We then walked away.

Chapter 2

I jumped off of the bus with a plop on to my gravel driveway and then I ran to the house to say hello to my mom when I walked through the door I dropped all of my stuff and ran in to her arms she almost fell over because of me and then Mike walked in and said

"Rose get off of mom right this instant"

in his grownup voice

" you are not the boss of me mom and dad are"

I said in my baby voice.

My brother walked away defeated and I was happy his stinky breath was gone too. At dinner my mom asked how our day was Mike said he had a excellent day and he had a wonderful lunch "wow why is this kids vocabulary so good and he only is in second grade" I thought. I told her that I had a terrible day and I was getting bullied she said that was horrible and I should take to a teacher I took her advise and the next day I would talk to a teacher.

When I got to school the next day I walked straight to class to talk with Mrs. Sticks. When I told her about Sarah and Bella she was mad at them but she didn't do ANYTHING ABOUT IT she just said " they will get over it" but I knew the wouldn't so I was left on my own.

I walked to my next class witch was Gym and I was ready to play kickball when I was walking down with my class I saw Sarah and Bella walking towards me so I stopped dead in my tracks and let them catch up to me when they got to me I told them to stop bulling me and then I walked away. I think that message got to them I thought but I was wrong they still came after me but I had a plan a big plan.

Chapter 3

The next day I decide to just ignore them and then stand up to them this wasn't like dodge ball this is way bigger and worse. I was outside and sitting on a bench waiting to attack finally I saw them walk down the path and then pick up their speed so I stood up and signaled my friends to come out of hiding and walk onto the path this would be the last time they will bully me. The time has come my fingers were shaking hoping that this plan will work.

They keep on walking and then they stopped and turned and then walked towards us I met then in the middle and stopped and looked at me and said

" why are you doing this you are the biggest dork in second grade"

then I said

" because I want this to end and I don't like getting bullied anyway can't we just be friends"

I think the message got to then because they nodded their heads and walked away. My friends and I jumped with happiness and then we hugged each other.

" we did it we got them to stop"

I said in my head and then said out loud after that the rest of second grade was bully free and no one got it to fights. After a few months we all became friends.

My hands got sweaty and there were tears in my eyes but I knew if I got in a fight I would be in big trouble from my second grade teacher Mrs. Sticks.

Mrs. Sticks called us in and we started reading our books for LA I was reading a great book called The Boxcar Children. I was really into the book I didn't hear Mrs. Sticks said " Rose please come over here I need you" " Yes" I say and jumped up from the fuzzy green chair in the back of the room and walked over to her. " Yes" I said again " I would like to see what you are reading" she said " I am reading The Boxcar Children and it is a really good book" she nodded in agreement and then said " you can go now" and then I walked away from her desk. When I was walking away I thought about how are the boxcar children are living alone without a family and people to love except for the part of the family they are with, witch are all kids.

I sat down at lunch trying to make day as great as possible but that didn't last long. I was sitting down at lunch talking with my best friend Nikki and we were talking about what we were going to do outside and all of a sudden Sarah and Bella walked up to me and Nikki and said that she was ugly but she isn't " that was really mean you should apologize to her or get out of here." They gave me a mean face and then walked back to their table where they looked at us in till lunch was over.

I didn't know why they were doing this because everyone says I am a fun and generous girl but I think their problem is my skin and hair because I have something called albinism when my hair, skin and eyes have no pigment witch means that there is no color and that is what I think they have a problem with that because they think I am different from everyone else but I am not I just look a little different then everyone else.

I caught up to my brother Mike after lunch and told him what happened with Bella and Sarah and he said "just ignore them but if they do it again tell mom ok." "Ok" I said in reply and then we walked away.

Chapter 2

I jumped off of the bus with a plop on to my gravel driveway and then I ran to the house to say hello to my mom when I walkd through the door I dropppd all of my stuff and ran in to her arms she almost fell over becasue of me and then Mike walked in and said "Rose get off of mom rigth this instant" in his grownup voice " you are not the boss of me mom and dad are" I said in my baby voice.

My brother walked away defeated and I was happy his stinky breath was gone too. At dinner my mom asked how our day was Mike said he had a excellent day "wow why is this kids vocabulary so good and he only is in second grade" I thought. I told her that I had a terrible day and I was getting bullied she said that was horrible and I should take to a teacher I took her advise and the next day I would talk to a teacher.

When I got to school the next day I walked straight to class to talk with Mrs. Sticks. When I told her about Sarah and Bella she was mad at them but she didn't do ANYTHING ABOUT IT so I was left on my own. I walked to my next class witch was Gym and I was ready to play kickball when I was walking down with my class I saw Sarah and Bella walking towards me so I stopped dead in my tracks and let them catch up to me when they got to me I told them to stop bulling me and then I walked away. I think that message got to them I thought but I was wrong they still came after me but I had a plan a big plan.

Chapter 3

The next day I decide to just ignore them and then stand up to them this wasn't like dodgeball this is way bigger and worse. I was outside and sitting on a bench waiting to attack finally I saw them walk down the path and then pick up their speed so I stood up and signaled my friends to come out of hiding and walk onto the path this would be the last time they will bully me.

Chapter 10

When I got to school the next day the sun was burning bright and the was a touch of cool air brushing against my face.

When I walked in to the hallway everyone dropped their stuff and looked at me " of course it is about my arm or is it my hair again " I thought but I just kept walking trying to hold the tears back. I couldn't believe it everything WAS going back to normal and I was going to get bullied again.

When Rose walked to my locker she told me she had bad news " Rob, Bob and CJ came up with the Bully AJ Club and you know what everyone joined it and the staff doesn't even know about it!"

"WHAT how dare they" I said my eyes couldn't take it I started crying in the middle of the hallway.

Social Action Fiction Story 1/11/13

The next day I went to school and when I got there everyone looked like human zombies they were running in to everything. When the bell rang everyone woke up from there never ending sleep. I walked to class hoping no one see me.

The day was as slow as a snail we just sat there class to class since we were in fifth grade we don't move classes so that means that we sit in the same classroom the whole day except when we do gym and all of the fun things.

When I was sitting on the play ground and CJ walked up to me said some mean things and then she pulled her hand out of her pocket and scratched me with her long and sharp finger nails and cut my hand and my hand was hurting like crazy it started gushing blood all over my t-shirt witch was white.

I ran to the door but all of a sudden one of the helpers stepped in my way he asked were I was going and I showed him what CJ did but he didn't believe me but I pushed past him and walked to the office. When I got to the office the person at the desk ran over to me but the time I got to the clinic I was in tears a bunch of teachers ran to me and asked me what happened I told them that CJ did it a they told me that they will punish her.

I walked back to recess with my arm bandaged up, I stomped down the hallway towards the back doors an went outside.

The next day I didn't come out of my room I just sat there crying in a corner. When my mom tried to come in and asked me what I need I would just keep my back turned. I knew it was a school day it was Friday one of my favorite days of the week but today it was my worst.

At the end of the day Rose came over the moment she walked in to my room I thought she was
my mom and I yelled for her to get out and Rose said

" I just wanted to know if you are ok"

and she walked out of the room. I noticed what I just did I just yelled at my only best friend and now I have no friends and it is all my fault.

The next day I walked over to Roses house to say I was sorry. I was walking up her driveway and I heard her inside talking with her mom about what happened.

I walked up to her door and rang the doorbell DING DING DING it rang inside of her house. My hands were really sweaty and I was really hot. When she opened the door she looked at me and then hugged me witch caught me by surprise she was so happy to see me and I said I was happy to see her too and we hugged in agreement.

The next day our block had a water balloon fight and Rose and I won even though we were soaking wet we still won.

Sunday we went to the bowling ally and had so much fun Rose won 94-90 it was a close game but we still had fun.

I walked out of the bathroom smelling like watermelon (witch smelled really good). My mom called me downstairs for dinner I could smell my dinner from my room " PIZZA!!!!!!!" I yelled while I was running downstairs. I ran super fast and made it to the dinner table faster then my mom who was ten feet from the table.

I got in to my seat and sat there in till I got my pizza. I was thinking about pizza and all of a sudden a water balloon hit my window and water and other things spread across my kitchen floor and it was full of red dye too my kitchen floor looked like a human bloodbath. The sticky red dye was on my moms new shirt that she really liked, she screamed in outrage

" how did this happen? Who did this?"

I walked away from the table and bent down to the ground I looked at the the remains of the water balloon and they said this belongs to Bob and Rob please return as quick as possible, then my mother bent down too and she looked at it with disgust.

I told her more then the last time I told her about it and she listened the whole time and she keep nodding her head and asking lots of questions.

All off a sudden I started to cry really hard and my mom asked why and I told her

" why did I have to be born like this everyone thinks I do everything wrong because I look weird because I have white hair and skin and they think I am albino witch I am not and I HATE IT."

Then I stormed off to my room and slammed the door and then the whole house was silent.

Social Action Fiction Story 1/4/13

Chapter 7
During school Rob nor Bob bother me they stayed away from me and just talked. I always hung out with Rose for protection.

When we were walking home and talking about what our favorite foods were and laughing at really funny jokes. When we turned the corner disaster struck Rob and Bob threw water balloons and big cherry pies at us.

Rose was lucky she dodged most of the pies but got hit by a water balloon and she yelled

" YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO PAY, I CHALLENGE YOU TWO TO A SOCCER GAME JUST YOU GUYS AND AJ IS ON MY TEAM!!."

When she was yelling I got pelted with water balloons and pies IT WAS HORRIBLE!. We managed to get them away from us but we were still soaking wet with water and our faces stuffed with pie witch was a year out of date so it tasted really bad.

We were walking home wiping pie off of us and when we got to my house my mom was in the garden planting more flowers and she turned around to the sound of our feet and she was really surprised when she saw us covered in pie she asked us in a weird voice

" why are you guys covered in pie and why does it smell really bad?"

We had to tel her the whole story an she felt really bad for us and she said she will talk to Rob and Bobs parents about what happened today. After that she sent Rose home to get washed up and told her to come back after she is done and then she told me to do the same.

My social action fiction story

Chapter 1


"HELP!!!!!" I yell while running on the playground "PEOPLE ARE COMING AFTER ME." "HELP!!!!!!!!" "thank god I am on the track team" I thought. The reason why they are chasing me is that I look different and they think that I am weird and I do everything wrong AND I HATE IT!!!!!!.

The bullies are Rob, Bob and CJ they are so mean they chase me everyday, EVERYDAY. "Get over here AJ" CJ yelled in her high pitched voice it sounds like I am at a air horn concert it is horrible. Rob, Bob and CJ are the meanest baddest bullies in the school and they just pick on me.

I keep running I am zig zagging everywhere and everyone is staring at me and chanting go Rob, Bob and CJ you can get her and lots of people are laughing at me and the helpers are not even doing a thing!!!!!!!!!. Finally the helpers break it up and tell the bullies that is not nice and to never do that again but I know that they will never stop chasing me

When I am walking in the hallway my old best friend Bella comes up laughs at me then she yells " LOOK AT THE DORK THAT FINALLY SHOWED UP" they all start laughing so hard some of the boys fall to the ground with laughter. I walked away and payed no attention to them.

When I get home I run up to my room and slam the door and I burst in to tears I need to stand up to them I think " tomorrow I am going to stand up to everyone even that brat Bella and the gang" I yell out loud. I yelled so loud my mom got worried and came up to my room and asked what happened and I told her and she said that she agreed that I should stand up to them.




Chapter 2

The next day I couldn't wait for lunch and to go outside my plan was on a roll. During lunch no one sat with me "of corse" I thought no one likes me and doesn't even mind to come sit with me.

Finally Recess.

 I went outside everyone looks at me with disgust but I keep walking. When I get to the top of the playground I yell "I AM NOT SCARED TO STAND UP FOR MY RIGHTS. I DO NOT WANT TO GET BULLIED EVERYDAY. IS THERE A REASON THAT EVERYONE THINKS I AM DIFFERENT I A JUST LIKE YOU AND I DONT CARE WHAT I LOOK LIKE!!."  Everyone looks at me like I am a weirdo on a podium.

I remembered what my mom said to me a long time ago

"I don't care what you look or be like but all I know no one knows the caring, loving, and cute girl that I see right now and if anyone is mean to you ignore them an get on with your life."

I took her advise and looked around no one was starring at me they were starring at a girl coming up to me I looked at her like "why are you helping me." I looked closer at her it was Rose Main the quite girl that sits in the back of the class. A lot of people are scared of her because she is really strong and she is the head of the soccer team.

And then she yelled " I AM A GOOD FRIEND OF AJ AND I DON'T WANT ANYONE BEING MEAN TO HER OR YOU WILL HAVE TO STAND UP TO ME!!!."

Everyone backed away when she said that and then she gave them a stare and then they ran away. When they all left Rose told me that I can hang out with her and we will be best friends and no one will hurt me again. She even told me that she lives next door to me.

Chapter 3
The next few hours were the best of my life no one came and pushed me or said bad things about me but I knew that this wasn't to end off my bullying but I enjoyed the moment. When I got home and ran to my mom and hugged her so tight. She was so surprised she was asking me a lot of questions about what happened at school.

I told her everything and she said she was so proud of me and congratulated me on making a new friend and told me to go say thank you again.

Chapter 4
The next day I felt happy as can be no one was chasing me or hurting me but I was worried about if CJ, Rob and Bob could keep being nice to me I knew when I got to school they will hurt me.

I walked through the school doors and when I did everyone starred at all of a sudden Bella walked up to me "oh great" I said under my breath. She got to me and she put her arm around me and said in her sweet voice "hey BFF how are you" I didn't know why she was doing this I hate her and she hates me so I did what my gut told me " GET OFF OF ME WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS YOU ARE A MONSTER".

She stepped back with disgust and stomped away.

I jumped up with delight but I knew that I three more to go.

When I caught up to Rose I was so happy I told her everything about me and Bella she was happy for me and then it happened CJ, Rob and Bob came in to the hallway and blocked us and then they cornered me and left Rose in the middle of the hallway she tried to help me but she got blocked by a crowd of kids and was left helpless.

Chapter 5
CJ cornered me and said " do you think that you scare us with that little thing that you pulled on the playground a few days ago well you are going to try harder then that" she yelled in my face with her onion breath.

A few moments later after she was done blabbering about how she is going to hurt me I couldn't help her breath stunk so I had to do what I had to do I threw up on her and she ran to the bathroom and started crying. "two to go" I said out loud everyone looked at me and walked away.

Chapter 6
The next day I was ready to take down Rob and Bob. I walked to school very happy that all of my worries will disappear. That stopped a few moments later because I walked passed Robs house right when he was walking out and he saw me and started sprinting towards me.

I started running in the other direction

"IT'S ON BUCKO!!!!!!"

He got really mad at that his face turned bright red like a fire engine I turned around and laughed.

When we got to the school grounds he was far behind me when everyone saw me running they all looked for my opponent when they saw Rob they all chanted for me I couldn't believe it they were chanting for ME, JUST ME.

When the teacher came out she got so mad at Rob she stomped over to him and grabbed him by the shirt collar and dragged him inside. Everyone laughed at him and then the teacher yelled at them to get to class. But I knew that he will still come after me.

Chapter 7
During school Rob nor Bob bother me they stayed away from me and just talked. I always hung out with Rose for protection.

When we were walking home and talking about what our favorite foods were and laughing at really funny jokes. When we turned the corner disaster struck Rob and Bob threw water balloons and big cherry pies at us.

Rose was lucky she dodged most of the pies but got hit by a water balloon and she yelled

" YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO PAY, I CHALLENGE YOU TWO TO A SOCCER GAME JUST YOU GUYS AND AJ IS ON MY TEAM!!."

When she was yelling I got pelted with water balloons and pies IT WAS HORRIBLE!. We managed to get them away from us but we were still soaking wet with water and our faces stuffed with pie witch was a year out of date so it tasted really bad.

We were walking home wiping pie off of us and when we got to my house my mom was in the garden planting more flowers and she turned around to the sound of our feet and she was really surprised when she saw us covered in pie she asked us in a weird voice
